Mark R. Halstrom, M.D.

As a family physician certified by the American Board of Family Practice, Dr. Halstrom is prepared to handel everything from childbirth to senior care. While focusing on functional medicine as it relates to traditional family practice medicine, he is able to offer a broad range of medical services, prescribe medications and supplements, order tests and perform surgery. Dr. Halstrom is trained in pediatrics, minor surgery, basic orthopedics and emergency care. He also takes a special interest in sports medicine and prolotherapy for chronic joint pain. Dr. Halstrom has taken advance course work in motor vehicle trauma as well.

He earned his M.D. from the University of Minnesota and completed a family practice residency at the LaCrosse Mayo Family Practice Residency program. He is a graduate of St. John’s University. Dr. Halstrom also gained significant experience in the Rural Physicians Associate Program and through his work as an emergency room and urgent care physician.
